Wild black raspberry notes and fine-toned anisette, the Claystone Pinot Noir features a dense-berried nose of red currants and black cherries, with a complex brambly breadth of fruit in the mid-palate. There is an intricate seriousness to the wild pluminess and slight black liquorice overtones. This is currently perhaps the most harmonious and settled of the reds.
